About this project
純粹如物理自然。Sequence 系列結構雕塑透過木頭、金屬和石頭三種媒材的限制使用，探究何以未經修飾、最少干預的狀態，使物理材料能夠自然傳達出其豐富特性，以此揭示其與其他部件的依存關係，並將對於自然的思索與直覺，寓於純然的結構風景中。
材料各自的特質與侷限，在相互擺放、組合、置換之間被予以彰顯。不鏽鋼條展現良好的剛性與彈性，而拋光的表面映照出空間，藉光影反射形成對話；石頭擁有堅硬的質地，同時作為結構的配重；木材的高支撐特性在重力和拉力之間抗衡，強度卻在厚薄中呈現歧異。所有物件皆未固定，卻因張力、摩擦力和重力的無形作用而趨向平衡，於靜止中散發一種能量蓄積和流動意象。
Pure like physics. Sequence is an ongoing sculptural collection that explores the simplest structures with restricted material usage to wood, metal, and stone. Pondering between their varied properties and limitations while carefully composing them with refined juxtapositions, the process is in search for a hidden structural allegory which elicits the invisible energy.
