Founded in 2011 by Chien-Hao Huang and Tung-Yi Hsiao, HaoxHsiaoTroupe is a theater company guided by three core principles: ""telling entertaining stories"" ""placing no boundaries on subject or scale,"" and ""refusing to limit creative endeavors solely to the theater."" Their extensive portfolio spans multiple mediums, including theater, the Internet, film and television. Today, they are (self-proclaimed) the comedy group closest to being the absolute best in Taiwan.

Notable theatrical productions from recent years include the local Taiwanese rap musical, Tales of Success: The Return of a Prodigal Son The Musical; original comedies such as Dumb Lover and The Angry Nerds series; and productions inspired by classic Western plays, such as Space Rescue: Project Godot (inspired by the French play Waiting For Godot) and The Dumb Waiter, Revised and Revised Again (inspired by the British play The Dumb Waiter).
