Chien-Chung Liao, a graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at National Taipei University of the Arts, uses meticulous techniques to create model-like simulations of seemingly real but deceptive objects. His work aims to challenge people's habitual thinking and evoke the personal narratives and social concerns behind the imitated objects.
REC END 4.0 『L-oops』 isn’t rushing, nor is it going anywhere far. It isn’t slow—time simply loses meaning here. Neither speeding up nor slowing down, the urge to hurry is simply gone. When we stop being harsh and no longer feel the need for fixing, failure isn’t a symbol anymore, just something successfully managed. We think we are moving, but we’re only taking another look at the same world, or being looked at once more.
